Duett Saddles Trial Policy - for your peace of mind

Duett Saddles sole purpose is to help you find the perfect saddle for you and your horse.  Simply either call us at 0845 299 7175 and tell us which saddle you would like to try - or buy online here.  We will ask you for your credit card details and shipping information.

Your saddle trial period lasts for seven days from receipt of saddle.  If you decide the saddle purchased is not right for any reason, ship it back to us and when we receive it, we will credit your card minus a £50 shipping and handling fee. Before considering returning the saddle, please call us to discuss the problem. Something which is easily remedied could save you the trouble of returning it and thinking it is not right.

A refund is subject to a handling charge and provided the saddle is returned in “as new” condition.  In any event please contact us if you are in any doubt - we are always happy to assist you, either pre- or post- purchase.

Please email us with the tracking number if you are returning a saddle.  Please do not return a saddle using the postal service; use a recognised courier company (UPS, Fed Ex City Link, DHL etc.)

You are encouraged to try the saddle and ride for at least 45 minutes so you can correctly evaluate the fit.  However, the integrity/condition of the flaps must be maintained.  An easy technique to protect the flaps is to lift the upper flap and slide the leathers onto the stirrup bars so that, when the flap is put down, the leathers are sandwiched between the upper and lower flap.  Alternatively wrap a towel or cloth round the stirrup leathers for the duration of the ride.  A saddle returned with signs of abrasion on the flaps or otherwise not in “as new” condition, will incur a restocking fee of 35%.

Where the saddle has been custom made to your specification, we cannot usually accept return of the Goods and offer a refund unless the Goods are faulty.  The statutory rights of the Buyer are unaffected.
